Having a lifetime interest in crafting began well before my grandmother taught me stamped embroidery and the influence of my grandfather being a carpenter. With 30+ years of experience, I make every effort to bring out my best creativity in every item I design. Many of my items are exclusive items of my own design and creation. My inspiration is varied and I never know when an idea might come into my head.
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Shari Freshwater and am the owner of Homespun and Primitives. I live in a small town in the Piedmont section of North Carolina with my very patient husband, Bill, my daughter, Cait and one very fat cat, named Rufie. I have another daughter, Amity, who lives nearby, with her husband, David, and my grandchildren, Alex (5)and Miss Elle (3).
My desire to offer my creations to others who appreciate quality handmade items has driven me to open this website. With the ability of shopping from the ease of your own home, with excellent customer service and fast
shipping, I strive to please each and every customer. I specialize in creating homespun items, wood items, one of a kind items, dolls, pillows and more. There will be a constant selection of these at all times. Some varying from seasonal items to everyday home décor.
